05 / QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Before you consign.

What can I consign?

We accept graded cards, including PSA, BGS and CGC, plus singles in unopened original packaging. Ungraded raw cards are not accepted. We do not handle card boxes because of their weight and shipping burden. Confirm each item’s edition, condition and auction arrangements first.

Can I consign an ungraded card?

Ungraded raw cards are not accepted. Factory-sealed singles may be submitted for review with photos of the original packaging and seals; they are a separate category from opened raw cards.

How is KAKA’s service fee calculated?

The service fee is 10% of the auction sale price. A HK$10,000 sale has a HK$1,000 service fee; the remaining HK$9,000 is then converted to TWD.

How are HKD proceeds converted to TWD?

The rate is the average of Bank of Taiwan’s HKD cash and spot quotes. TWD amount = HKD sale price × 90% × average rate. The bank publishes buying and selling quotes; agree on the quote side and date/time when consigning.

Is the calculator my final payout?

The calculator uses the sale price and two rates you enter. It is not a live bank quote or a final statement. Settlement confirms the sale, 10% service fee and rate references. Confirm any other applicable fees before consigning.

What information should I send?

Send item names, editions, quantities and your location through our official LINE. For graded cards, include front and back photos, the grading company and grade. For sealed singles, photograph the original packaging and seals without opening them.

Can I ship immediately? How should I pack?

Confirm acceptance and the address before shipping. Secure graded cards against impacts. Keep sealed singles in their original packaging and add rigid protection against bending. Fill empty space in the shipping carton and keep proof of shipment. Do not send raw cards or card boxes.

Can I set a reserve? What happens if it does not sell?

Confirm starting-price or reserve options and any relisting or return arrangements before consigning. Past sale prices are not a guarantee for your auction.

When will it be listed, and when will I be paid?

Listing and settlement schedules depend on acceptance and the auction arrangements. We do not promise a fixed number of days here. Confirm the schedule before consigning and enquire about progress through LINE.

What do the Mew result and special-auction totals represent?

HK$333,000 is the individual Mew sale result. The 205-lot, HK$661,720 special-auction recap is presented separately; the figures are not added together. Historical sale prices are not seller proceeds or a guarantee of future results.
